*Disclaimer: “The hiring of a lawyer is an important decision. Before you decide to hire an attorney, ask that lawyer for written information about that lawyer’s qualifications and experience.
MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENTS: I represent motorcyclists injured as a result of the negligence of others. Too often those injuries are catastrophic. Wearing a helmet, although not necessarily stylish, can save lives and reduce the severity of injuries. Florida law requires a biker over the age of 21 to wear a helmet unless the biker has an insurance policy providing at least ten thousand dollars in medical benefits. Law enforcement officers can require a motorcyclist to provide proof of insurance.
The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has reported that more bikers die in states that do not require helmets than those in states which require helmets. About five times as many according to a study that looked at years 2008 through 2010. The Center reported that although motorcycle accidents account for only 3% of the total vehicle accidents, they account for 14% of the fatalities.
“As a biker myself, I implore you to be cautious when riding. If you’re a biker and have been injured as the result of another person’s negligence; put me to work representing you today. You pay me nothing unless I recover for you.”
AUTOMOBILE ACCIDENTS: “I personally represent motorists seriously injured as the result of another person’s negligence. Prompt action is needed to address your need for medical treatment, the payment of medical bills and the recovery of lost wages. It is vitally important that you understand both the law and the process by which your needs will be addressed and your damages recovered. An insurance adjuster will no doubt contact you seeking to obtain a recorded statement as to the facts surrounding the accident and the nature of your injuries. It is important that you consult with an attorney prior to giving any such statement. Simply stated, you need an advocate to deal with the insurance companies and to protect your rights. Put me to work as your advocate. If there is no recovery, there is no fee.”
